Upon the initial inspection, we haven't found any comprehensive information about the 99Papers' writing experts. On the service's main page, it's stated they hire qualified freelance writers who undergo document verification and "a complex application process." However, that's the only detail about the writers' background and the selection process we get. What are the stages of the application process, which criteria does the service apply, and who checks the applicants' credentials – all these questions remain a mystery. With such a vague description of the writing team, hiring an academic helper from 99Papers is always a gamble. You have a 50% chance of success, while the other 50% could be an absolute nightmare.

And in our case, we've bet on the wrong horse. Despite the 99Papers rating climbing to 4.48/5 on SiteJabber, we've ended up having the worst experience with one of their writers. The expert we selected turned out to be unresponsive and totally inconsiderate, to say the least. We messaged our writer to explain the paper structure after placing an order. However, he didn't respond to us at all. We also attached specific guidelines for our essay, but they remained untouched. Seven days later, we received a completed paper from our expert but still no reply to our previous messages. The essay we received was on our requested topic, but other than that – totally not what we asked for.

Evaluation of the 99 Papers essay revealed that it is unique, so no problem with plagiarism was identified. 99Papers paper writing reviews also don’t mention any plagiarism issues.

But, its authenticity did not save the situation to the slightest degree, as we were dissatisfied with the quality of communication and non-compliance with our structuring instructions.

We were simply abashed by such disrespect to the company’s terms and conditions, contacted support – and got another mind-blowing response asking us to wait for 14 (!) days for the Quality Assurance Department’s investigation!

You see a calculator, enter the key requirements for your paper, and click “Order now.” We were overwhelmed with the order form interface and additional services offered. Multiple 99 Papers reviews also mention that it was too much to take in.

How come we need to pay $9.95 for a plagiarism report and $9.99 for priority support? What does priority support actually entail?

You won’t get to choose a native English speaker as your writer for free, either. The service wants you to spend an extra $5.14 per page on an ENL writer. It repels the user from square one.

After carefully examining what 99Papers has to offer in practice, we’re ready to answer the question on your mind: Is 99Papers reliable? Here are its pros and cons:

According to the 99Papers website, all new customers are guaranteed 10% off for their second order. We definitely were expecting more, considering similar services offer a 10-15% discount for their first-time clients right away.

Apart from this "generous" bonus, 99Papers also has a loyalty program, which supposedly saves you $430 annually. However, we couldn't find out any more details about this promo offer. When we tapped the "learn more" button, we were redirected straight to the order form. So the question, "Is 99Paper a good service with lucrative bonuses?" stills remains open.

While the company claims its support reps work round-the-clock, we are not so sure of that. We contacted their customer service via all three channels on Sunday evening. However, our "Is 99Papers cheating?" question remained unanswered. In fact, we haven't received any reply to this day. Even the phone line didn't pick up to explain why our order, which we placed ten days prior, is 10 hours overdue.

We strongly recommend against hiring this service if you're in need of urgent academic help or are dealing with a critically important task. Evidently, you cannot count on timely and compassionate assistance from 99Papers. So, if you're worried about a pressing deadline or want to avoid problems with your uni, you better look for a more responsible and less ignorant academic assistant.
