EssayHave - A Brief Overview
The EssayHave rating on Sitejabber is 4.0/5.0 stars based on 13 reviews, which suggests that customers are generally satisfied with the service, but there’s definitely room for improvement. EssayHave isn’t represented on other popular review platforms akin to TrustPilot and Reviews.io, which is also a bit of a red flag.
However, as the available reviews are mostly positive, we wanted to give EssayHave a fair chance. In particular, we’ve noticed customers praising EssayHave’s writing quality and its writers’ willingness to do whatever they can to help struggling students.
Before we tested the service for this EssayHave com review, we gathered all the information we could. Even without ordering, we noticed a few positives about EssayHave, including the price transparency. It’s common for writing services to make potential customers create an account and fill out the order form before they can even check the per-page rates. EssayHave has a convenient calculator right on its home page—which is a big plus.
That being said, a few things about EssayHave confused us, so we knew we had to test the service ourselves to have all our questions answered.
Our Verdict on EssayHave com
Overall, we have mostly good things to say about EssayHave. The prices are relatively affordable; the service seems to have a large and diverse team selection of writers; there’s a live chat on the website to facilitate customers’ communication with the support team.
At the same time, there are flaws, too. We’ll detail them below, but for now, what you probably need to know first is that EssayHave’s quality of writing could be better. It’s on par with a lot of other writing services, but it doesn’t make us want to recommend this platform. We had to request three revisions before the paper finally looked at least close to what we expected.
Also, while EssayHave’s interface is convenient, and even a first-time customer is unlikely to have any trouble with it, the website can be glitchy, especially when you’re using the price calculator or trying to contact the support team using the live chat.
Our Experience with EssayHave
We always test the services we’re reviewing by putting ourselves in our readers’ shoes and ordering a paper. We did the same for our review for EssayHave. It was a 5-page Graduate-level essay analyzing Street Art as a Form of Activism.
We attached detailed instructions but gave the writer complete freedom in choosing the sources (we did emphasize that they had to be scholarly, though). The writer had 24 hours to complete the paper.
We will detail our concerns in a bit. For now, we want to acknowledge that the writer was communicative and answered all our questions in the writer-customer chat. They asked a few follow-up questions, so we were confident they were genuinely trying to do their best.
Sadly, based on the first draft we received later, something went wrong along the way.
EssayHave’s Customer Support Team
It’s important for us to keep our review of EssayHave as objective as we can, so we can’t say that EssayHave has a bad support team. Quite the opposite, in fact.
When we were trying to get our writer to revise the paper for the second time, and they kept rejecting our request, it was the support team who helped us finally get in touch with the writer and convinced them to complete our revision request.
However, if you’re hoping to have every question you have answered and every issue you’re experiencing solved immediately via the live chat, you’ll be disappointed. Based on our experience, if you want EssayHave’s support to help you, you need to call them. It’s not very convenient, but efficiency matters more.
So, if that’s not something you’re comfortable with, EssayHave might not be the service for you—even more so if you have an urgent order and need everything to be done ASAP.
EssayHave Writers: How Competent Are They?
Still, the biggest issue with EssayHave is the writing quality. After seeing a few positive EssayHave paper writing reviews from previous customers and chatting with our writer for a bit, we got our hopes up.
Once we saw the first draft, though, we realized we shouldn’t have. The essay was okay, but it was nowhere near the quality level we expected, especially considering that we ordered a Master’s-level paper.
The writer did a good job structuring the essay, and some of their arguments were compelling. However, the writer’s vocabulary and, most importantly, the sources they cited were not acceptable for an academic paper, especially not a Graduate-level paper.
Half of the sources they cited weren’t even scholarly; they were mostly online sources from questionable websites. That’s not what we want to see when we pay over $200 for an essay.
EssayHave Prices and Discounts
The EssayHave price per page varies, so don’t let the price we paid ($205) scare you. If you’re an Undergraduate student and you place your order in advance, you will pay much less.
For example, a 5-page undergraduate-level essay with a 14-day deadline will only cost you $90, which is a decent enough price for us to consider EssayHave an affordable writing service.
That being said, we wouldn’t recommend ordering anything there if your academic level is higher or if you need the paper urgently. The price will go up by a lot, and you’ll most likely be disappointed with the paper you receive. If we had to submit the essay we received (after 3 revisions!) for a Graduate-level class, we would still have to improve it ourselves first.
Also, while a lot of EssayHave’s competitors offer attractive discounts for first-time customers or multi-page orders, EssayHave doesn’t. There are cheaper services out there, and a few of them also have a far higher quality.
Can You Get a Revision?
Is EssayHave safe?—Depends on what you mean by that. Yes, it’s a legitimate service, and we’re sure that you will get the paper you’re ordering, so don’t worry about that. You are also unlikely to get a fully plagiarized or AI-generated paper, which is a concern for a lot of first-time clients of academic writing services.
And yet, if you’re interested in how smooth the overall experience ordering from EssayHave is, we need to warn you about revisions. As we weren’t happy with the first draft, we asked the writer to revise it. They accepted our revision request almost immediately and delivered the revised paper in less than 2 hours.
However, the revised paper was still below our standards, so we requested a second revision. The writer refused to accept it with some generic comments, so we had to contact them through the support team.
Then, the same thing happened when we were asking for a third revision—which we wouldn’t have done if the writer followed our revision instructions on the first try.
Available Deadline Options on EssayHave
EssayHave has a variety of deadlines to choose from. The shortest option is only 4 hours, but please keep in mind that it’s not available if you have a large paper. It’s unrealistic to expect the writer to deliver a 5+ page paper in a few hours, so we wouldn’t even take that risk.
Besides, as we’ve mentioned, the deadline affects the price a lot. To compete, a 1-page Graduate essay with a 4-hour deadline will cost you $65; if you give the writer 3 days to complete it, you will pay $34.
Also, in our experience, the more time you give the writer, the more likely you are to end up with a well-written paper. Otherwise, it might be rushed and poorly thought out.
As to the longest deadline option available, it’s 14 days. We recommend going for this one if you can, especially if you’re on a budget.
EssayHave Plagiarism: Is It Safe to Use the Service?
Our readers often ask us questions along the lines of “Is EssayHave cheating?” (or any other writing service).
We can’t answer it confidently without knowing your school’s view of academic integrity and, most importantly, without knowing what you intend to do with the paper you receive from the service. Some people use it as a sample; others submit it without changing a single comma.
Also, if your number one concern is plagiarism, we don’t think you have anything to worry about. We received an originality report with our EssayHave paper. We also ran the paper through a couple of plagiarism detection tools ourselves—everything was fine.
EssayHave’s Key Pros and Cons
As you can see, EssayHave is not all good or all bad. It has its perks—a helpful support team, a convenient order form, etc.—but it also could use some work in a few areas, especially the writing quality. To make it easier for you to make a decision, let’s visualize EssayHave’s main pros and cons.
