‍Is Educibly Legit? Can You Trust It?

If you check Sitejabber, you will see that Educibly’s average customer satisfaction score is 3.8/5. This isn’t the worst rating we’ve seen, but it’s far from perfect. It suggests that many customers have found Educibly’s quality lacking and would hardly return to order more academic papers.

If you’re looking for good value for money and care about the result, we recommend you go elsewhere. Educibly isn’t what you’re looking for (unless you’re looking for mediocre writing quality and poor communication). Generally, the rating you want if you’re looking for a good service is 4.6+.

Educibly isn’t among the leaders of the academic writing industry, and you’re unlikely to have heard about it unless you know someone who has already turned to Educibly for academic writing help. However, if you look the service up, you will find a well-designed and easy-on-the-eye website that paints a good picture of Educibly, claiming that it hires some of the best writers in the industry.

In our experience, that’s not the case. To test Educibly, we ordered a 5-page anthropology essay on religious minorities’ cultural identity in the U.S. According to the profile of the writer who wrote our paper, they had a degree and years of experience writing on religious studies, cultural studies, and anthropology. We doubt that was the case now that we’ve seen the completed paper.

We know some students are on a tight budget and prioritize the price when choosing an academic writing service. However, even if that’s the case for you, we still do not recommend Educibly. It’s not the cheapest writing service. We can name a few cheaper alternatives with higher-quality writing, better communication with writers, and customer support.

Educibly has a straightforward order placement process. You likely won't have any issues if you have used any academic writing service before. When filling out the order form, you must select the discipline you need a paper on, the paper type, your academic level, the number of pages, and the deadline.

The one thing you might not have seen before—although it’s pretty common in the academic writing industry—is the so-called “expert’s category.” The service allows you to pay extra to hire a higher-level writer for your order. For an advanced writer, you must pay an extra $7.28 per page; if you want a premium expert (satisfaction rate from customers 96% and above), it will cost you an extra $14.56 per page. As you can see, that’s not a cheap feature.

However, even if you use the service despite all the negative Educibly reviews, we wouldn’t recommend paying extra for a higher-level writer. We did, and the result wasn’t worth it. The Educibly essay we received was written by someone with little to no prior experience with the topic, making us question the validity of the writer’s profile.

Based on what we experienced when testing the service, Educibly’s customer support team is not bad. We first texted them before placing the order and asked them about the differences between different categories of experts. They were quick to respond, and their responses were in-depth yet easily understandable.

When we texted the writer a few hours later and got no response, we contacted the support team again to ask them to contact the writer. It helped, and the writer responded to our message in about 30 minutes. The support team member we were talking to was polite and helpful.

However, when we received the paper and requested a revision, it took a while before the writer finally confirmed our revision request. We contacted the support team repeatedly, trying to speed up the process, but they couldn’t help us because the writer wasn’t responding. We even had a flashback to our research for the Affordable Papers review - we encountered something very similar back then. While that doesn’t seem to be their fault, we can’t say that Educibly’s customer support team is as effective as some competitors.

Unfortunately, we don’t have much good to say about Educibly’s writers. The person who wrote our anthropology essay allegedly has an anthropology degree. In their initial message, they assured us that they knew the topic of religious minorities’ cultural identity well and had completed similar papers before. We offered to attach a few sources they could find helpful, but they refused.

When we received the completed essay, it was a complete disappointment. While there were no factual mistakes in it, the level of analysis was extremely surface-level, especially considering that we ordered a college-level paper and paid extra for an “advanced” writer. Nothing about the writing we saw in our essay was advanced.

Possibly, it was our unlucky day, and the rest of the writers at Educibly are great professionals. However, the reviews we’ve seen online suggest that that’s not the case. Looks like writers’ profiles on Educibly are merely for promotion.

We’ve recently received some questions from our readers: "Is Educibly free?" IIt’s not, and it’s not even the most affordable writing service you can find (read this HireWriters review to make sure). We know that in addition to high quality, what most academic writing services clients are looking for is a good bargain. Sometimes, paying less for an okay paper and making it better on your own makes sense than paying hundreds of dollars for an exceptional paper.

The problem with Educibly is that the prices aren’t as low as the writing quality you get. For a 5-page college-level essay with a 24-hour deadline, you can expect to pay over $120. That’s not too much, but cheaper and better alternatives exist.

We paid extra as we ordered an “advanced” writer, and the total price was almost $158. You will find this price on some of the best academic writing websites, and it will be worth it there. On Educibly.com, it’s not.

First-time clients can get a $10 discount from Educibly, but it’s insufficient to justify the service’s poor quality-to-price ratio. If you want a decent level of writing for a reasonable price, Educibly isn’t what you’re looking for.

According to Educibly, every client who isn’t happy with the first draft can request a free revision and have the writer change everything wrong about the paper (as long as the revision requirements align with the original instructions). That’s a standard policy in the academic writing industry; almost every writing service we’ve tested has it. The problem, however, is getting the writer to revise the draft.

Once we received ours, we requested a revision immediately, yet our request was rejected. The writer claimed that our criticisms were unfair and that the paper was fine. We had to ask for a revision three times and contact the support team for help before the writer finally agreed to make the necessary changes. Still, when we received the revised paper hours later, it wasn’t what we hoped for. The writer fixed some of the things we requested but ignored others completely. It was better than the first draft but still far from what we expected from someone supposedly an advanced writer with an over 90% customer satisfaction rate.

Our experience explains why we’ve seen multiple comments from customers who tried to get an Educibly refund.

We haven’t had a chance to test how well Educibly’s writers perform under extreme time constraints. We wanted to improve the service’s writing quality, so we gave our writer 24 hours to complete the essay. Still, it won't be an issue if you need your paper done ASAP. We wouldn’t expect it to turn out well, but the quickest you can get it done is in as little as 1 to 3 hours (if your paper is on the shorter side).

That being said, a couple of older Educibly reviews we’ve seen online say that Educibly’s writers aren’t the best at following deadlines. According to one of the commenters, they needed an essay written urgently and requested a 3-hour deadline only to receive the first draft hours past the due date. We doubt that’s a common occurrence, but keep this in mind.

Finally, is Educibly plagiarism free? One of the biggest concerns with academic writing services is always plagiarism. It’s a big deal in today’s academia, and no one wants to fail a course or face even more grim consequences because of the writer who failed to cite some source they used for the paper properly.

Some services offer free plagiarism reports to clients, but those can’t always be trusted. The paper we received from Educibly was original; there was no outright plagiarism, even if the ideas the writer voiced weren’t unique. However, we found at least four errors in in-test citations, including one misattributed quote. Some professors consider poorly formatted in-text citations a form of plagiarism, so we encourage you to double-check those if you decide to order a paper from Educibly.

Based on our 3.7/5 rating and less than a complimentary review, you can probably guess that, in our experience, Educibly has more drawbacks than perks. Is it the worst academic writing service we’ve ever come across? Not at all. Is it among the best ones? Definitely not. Educibly has some potential, but for now, it’s not where we’d like it to be, especially regarding writing quality.
