PaperDon isn’t the biggest or most popular academic writing service, but we’ve recently received requests about it from our readers. So, what can you expect from PaperDon?

Once you visit PaperDon’s website, you will see that it’s not much different from competitors. There are positive reviews, an overview of PaperDon’s services, a FAQ section, and, obviously, the order form. The website is pretty informative and easy to navigate, except regarding prices.

At PaperDon, you won’t see how much the paper you’re ordering will cost until you sign in. You can use your Google account or email address to do that. Such lack of price transparency isn’t unique, but it’s not the industry standard. We still think it makes more sense for academic writing services to be upfront about how much they charge their clients.

To check PaperDon, we ordered a 5-page essay on Nursing. We gave the writer 24 hours to complete the paper, attached the sources we wanted them to reference, and even paid extra for the “choose the best writer” option in the order form. According to PaperDon, for an extra $9.99, we got the best-suited expert for our assignment, someone competent specifically in the discipline and paper type we were ordering.

We also talked to the support team to compare how responsive they would be before vs. after we placed the order. The support team member we got to talk to was perfectly helpful. They explained the “choose the best writer” feature to use and gave us an idea of what we could expect from the writing process and communication with the writer throughout.

Below, we will detail every aspect of our experience with PaperDon. For now, look at the scores we gave to the service regarding pricing, features, ease of use, and so on. As you can see, we found that even the 4.0 score PaperDon holds on Trustpilot is too high; too many issues soured the experience for us.

If you check other PaperDon reviews, you will likely see quite a few clients complain about the website's order placement process. We didn’t find it all that complicated, but a few things seemed unnecessary and made the order form more confusing than it had to be.

First, as discussed, PaperDon isn’t upfront about the prices. You will know the price of the paper before you share your payment information, but not before you sign in. As a result, if you want to know how affordable the service is without giving away your email (and, therefore, loads of personal data), you can’t. Most of PaperDon’s competitors are open about prices, and we prefer a transparent approach.

Also, you might notice a few confusing features in the order form. For example, for some reason, PaperDon estimates the work its writers will do in hours rather than pages. You are paying for an X number of hours, which, according to the fine print, equals an X number of pages. It doesn’t change anything for you as a client, but don’t let this confuse you.

If you have any questions or issues when placing an order on PaperDon (say if you struggle to create your PaperDon login), you can always turn to the service’s customer support team. Before using the service, we’d seen several negative comments on Trustpilot about PaperDon’s support. Several clients complained that PaperDon’s customer support team members were rude to them and couldn’t solve the problem they were having with the writer.

That wasn’t the case for us, especially not at the beginning. They were quick and efficient when we texted PaperDon’s support for assistance with the order placement process. So, if you need help with anything, don’t be afraid to contact the support team. They’ll likely help.

After seeing the first draft of our paper, we faced an issue with PaperDon’s support. We asked the writer to revise it, and it took them a while to respond, so we asked the support team to help us contact the writer. The support team’s involvement didn’t help, and we still had to wait.

Another common concern in the negative reviews on PaperDon is PaperDon writers. People complain about low writing quality, unwillingness to help when a revision is needed, and poor communication during the writing process. There are positive reviews, too, but the most recent ones are mostly critical.

We’ve tested different academic writing services, and PaperDon’s writers are quite competent, at least in our experience. The paper we received wasn’t flawless, but it was a well-structured and well-argued essay. We wouldn’t have to change too much about it if we had to hand it in as our school assignment.

However, we did pay an extra $9.99 to get a writer known for their expertise in our subject area, so perhaps that accounted for our positive impression of PaperDon’s writers.

Despite the lack of price transparency, PaperDon is quite affordable. There are cheaper options in the academic writing industry, but PaperDon is still closer to them than the most expensive services. Prices per page start at as little as $9.99, which is a steal. If you have time to spare and don’t need urgent delivery, you can expect to pay about $80-100 for a 5-page undergraduate-level paper.

Don’t expect much from PaperDon when it comes to discounts. On its website, the service attempts to make it seem like it has additional discounts currently. For example, it says you now get free 24/7 customer support instead of paying $13. You’re also entitled to unlimited revisions for free instead of $11.

Please don’t let these “features” fool you. Those are standard industry practices. No decent academic writing service charges clients for 24/7 customer support and unlimited revisions (as long as those revisions are the writer’s fault and not just the client changing instructions repeatedly).

Another important aspect of any academic writing service is its willingness to adjust the draft based on the client’s feedback. Even the best writer can sometimes misinterpret the instructions or miss something. It’s not a big deal, provided the writer is ready to revise the paper if the client asks.

So, is PaperDon reliable regarding its revision policy? We’ve seen people complain about PaperDon’s writers refusing to revise their papers or asking for extra revision charges. The commenters say it’s common for PaperDon to “dodge” revisions and claim that the client is changing the original instructions when they aren’t.

However, it wasn’t our experience. We had to wait a few hours because the writer wasn’t responding to our texts, and the support team couldn't reach them either. Yet, once the writer did respond, they agreed to revise the paper. There weren’t any extra charges.

PaperDon has different deadline options, so you can choose whether to order in advance and pay less or get the paper urgently but spend a lot. As is always the case in the academic writing industry, the deadline you’re setting significantly affects the price. The same page of text may cost you $15 or $40, depending on how much time you’re giving the writer to complete your order.

Keep in mind that the shortest deadlines you’ve perhaps seen on other services (3 or 4 hours) aren’t available at PaperDon. The shortest you can count on is 6 hours, even if you’re ordering a one-page paper. The writer can complete it much faster, and you might receive the first draft in as little as an hour. However, what matters is that they don’t have to, so it’s risky to count on that.

One of the reasons potential clients wonder, “Is PaperDon scam?” (or any other academic writing service) is the fear of plagiarism. Based on our surveys, it’s one of the top three explanations students give when asked why they aren’t using writing services. According to students, the risk of plagiarism is too high, and the potential consequences are too serious.

However, based on what we’ve seen from PaperDon, you have nothing to worry about. The writer who worked on our paper used the sources we attached and cited everything correctly. There were a couple of mistakes in the bibliography, but they were minor, and the writer corrected them when we pointed them out. We wouldn’t say the paper was particularly original regarding the ideas and arguments voiced, but it wasn’t plagiarized.

Based on what we’ve experienced, it’s an okay service with lower-than-average prices. It’s not the best, but it might be worth trying if you choose the right writer.
