The essays, research papers, reports, and everything of a kind are not everyone's cup of tea. Many people, especially those torn between work and studies, tend to look for assistance with academic papers. And picking the right agency to cooperate with is not always easy.
To this end, our specialists have already done all the work preparing these essay writing service reviews. We've reviewed the most popular platforms that students entrust their papers too. Check out each of our works - from EssayPro review to TrustMyPaper overview. You’ll get honest feedback on the services' quality and attitude - both regarding the products and the customers.
TrustMyPaper is a relatively new academic writing service that came into existence in 2019. The company has numerous positive and negative reviews online, so we have decided to clarify the matter and make a full and honest review of the entity to provide our readers with an objective impression of what they may expect to get that. Unfortunately, the company’s services proved to be worse than expected. For this opinion not to be empty talk, we’ll discuss each aspect of the service in detail and will make the final verdict of whether TrustMyPaper is a scam.
The company boasts having 2,000+ writers as their remote staff specializing in over 85 subject areas. An impressive statistic (if it is true). However, this is it. Not a single word about the writers’ credentials, education, ways of verifying the writer’s aptitude and writing skill, and not a single detail of the hiring process. The client remains ignorant about how to choose the best writer and whether he/she has the right to choose overall.
A separate word should be said about samples available on the website. It seems that samples have to exemplify the best work of the company’s writers to give clients confidence in the service. But it’s not the case for TrustMyPaper – its samples are awful, if not to say more. They contain numerous errors, misused articles, and the overall level of English command seems to be low even for an ESL speaker.
To crown it all, we got a pathetic service from Trust My Paper in terms of deadline compliance. Though the company claims to enjoy the 98% loyalty rate with clients, we might end in those unfortunate 2%, we guess. The writer failed the deadline of the draft for which we repeatedly asked and submitted the paper 10 (!) hours after the deadline! When we turned to support to find out who is to blame and how to ask for compensation, the response was so ambiguous that we stopped seeking justice and just let it go. So, keep in mind that if something goes wrong, you’ll hardly get your money back – or you will need to try real hard to get it.
The TrustMyPaper essay that we got from the writer was not plagiarized, which nevertheless was a doubtable bonus given the overall quality of writing. The paper looked primitive and simplistic as if a child wrote it and then substituted simple words with long, academic phrases to disguise his mediocre command of English. Clearly a work of an ESL writer, to make matters worse – the one with a poor command of English as such.
The process of TrustMyPaper sign up is easy and quick, but it requires placing an order. You can’t log in to the system unless you order and pay. After the registration is over, you may conduct the TrustMyPaper login and review your personal cabinet, which is quite minimalistic and intuitively navigable. This aspect of the company’s operation is claim-free.
The first thing that the client entering the website sees is a highly attractive 17% discount on the first order for new customers. Lucky you, you might think? But look at the price – a simple High School essay with a 14-day deadline costs the mind-cracking $12.99 with the discount! A red flag, isn’t it? You might indeed save some funds on the first order, but what about consecutive ones? You will need to pay 17% more, which makes it not such a fair deal. And since it’s better to choose one provider and remain with it for a long time to get all loyalty bonuses and discounts, we would recommend seeking a more affordable company.
It is also notable that the company has a separate section titled “discounts” where the clients may see the loyalty discounts they may expect. In this way, the TrustMyPaper writing service promises a lifetime discount of 5% on all orders exceeding 15 pages or the sum of $399, the 10% discount on all orders exceeding 50 pages or $599, and a quite attractive 15% discount on all orders that exceed your total balance of 100 pages or $799 in this company. Such bonuses are a good deal for any client wishing to stay here for long, but the company’s readiness to give so much money back to clients also looks suspicious – who will cover this discount? Can you expect the same level of quality for the reduced price, or will your CHEAPER order get into the hands of inexperienced newbies?
The company’s contacts include a toll-free UK and US phone number, a live chat, and a corporate e-mail. Sounds good, right? Not exactly! We tried to reach out to the company’s representatives via the hotline (which is claimed to operate 24/7) three (!) times on different days and different times of the day. All in vain. The live chat turned out the only prompt contact option as it took support 3 days to respond via email, but the responses in the chat were also too general to consider them real help.
So, when making a conclusion of whether TrustMyPaper is legal or not, we relied on the experience that we had with its writers and support, and on the legal information available about the company’s owners. The legal address of this company is Nicosia, Cyprus, which is already suspicious – Cyprus is a cheap, popular offshore location where businesses trying to conceal their identity open remote business entities. It’s highly improbable to see a physical office with Trust My Paper managers or writers in Nicosia, though we didn’t check. Our conclusion is – don’t mess with TrustMyPaper as the result may be too unpredictable to rely on such an academic provider.
