Despite a decade of presence on the market, Write My Papers hasn’t managed to amass thousands of reviews yet. That said, the platform still maintains relatively high ratings on both Sitejabber and Reviews.io, which prompted us to look into it.

Considering the platform’s commendable reviews online, we couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to see Write My Papers.org in action. To that end, we placed an order for a five-page essay for an undergraduate class on public health. We settled on the topic of the role of vaccinations in public health. As for the deadline, we gave our helper 14 days to deliver the order.

While the ordering process was indeed easy and intuitive, like many reviewers point out, there were several major bad surprises along the way. Namely, a lot of services that were advertised as free actually entailed extra fees (cases in point: plagiarism report, “advanced” and “top” writers).

We also couldn’t select our writer ourselves. While this step could be overwhelming for some customers, we believe that you should have a say in who will be working on your order.

While the barebones academic writing rates are pocket-friendly, the paper quality doesn’t quite live up to the pricing. Our essay wasn’t exactly worth the price tag we paid, albeit it wasn’t horrible, either.

All in all, if you’re looking for the best price-quality ratio in the academic help industry, keep looking: Write My Papers doesn’t embody it.

Paper quality is what we were disappointed with, perhaps, the most – Write My Papers failed to deliver an essay worthy of the price tag.

Don’t get this wrong: the essay we got for this WriteMyPapers review wasn’t outright terrible. But its quality was underwhelming, still, especially considering that it cost $55.00.

The topic was covered fine, albeit we thought the writer only scratched the surface. They could’ve provided more real-world examples of what happens when vaccination rates fall below 95%. (There were several recent cases in the U.S.)

The flow of the text wasn’t perfect, either: the language used was too dry and robotic, in our opinion. Not that we expected a poetic interpretation of the topic, but we didn’t appreciate the overuse of passive voice. The text also contained some filler phrases that could’ve been easily deleted if the essay had gone through an editor first.

Formatting and sourcing also weren’t quite up to our expectations. There were multiple problems with the former. The title page, obligatory under the APA guidelines, was missing. Capitalization was all over the place, too. As for sources, to our surprise, the References page contained more sources than cited in the essay.

Since many reviewers praise responsive customer support, we decided to see what it was all about ourselves for this Write My Papers org review. We started with figuring out how customer support could be reached.

There’s good news here: Write My Papers offers 24/7 support over Facebook Messenger and live chat on the website itself. In addition to that, you can call one of the two toll-free phone numbers. (One is a U.S. number, and the other one is for UK customers.) Finally, you can also write an email to customer support if you’re old-fashioned that way.

We dropped a line in the live chat to see how responsive Write My Papers’ customer support is. Even though it was early morning, we got connected to a rep surprisingly fast – in about four minutes. While Cara was definitely trying to cater to our needs, her responses weren’t quite detailed. Her messages were also riddled with punctuation mistakes.

That said, we did get an answer to our question on payment method – and we got it fast.

The first thing you might notice when you head to the Writers page is that its experts are boiled down to mere ID numbers. There are no names and no photos, only stock-like avatars.

Writer profiles themselves contain just the basic information: an About Me section, reviews, the number of completed orders, and key areas of expertise. For some of you, it’ll be enough to have peace of mind. We, however, would like to see a more detailed breakdown of completed orders by assignment type, for example.

Unfortunately, those writer profiles are arguably useless: you can’t select your writer anyway. One is assigned to your order by platform. That said, you can still hire a specific writer who worked on your orders before by entering their ID.

As for the vetting process, the company claims to test candidates’ knowledge of subjects, formatting styles, and vocabulary and grammar. However, it doesn’t openly tell you where its writers are from.

WriteMyPapers prices are in line with its competitors. The five-page essay we ordered for this WriteMyPapers.org review cost us $55.00 without any bells and whistles thrown into the mix.

When it comes to pricing transparency, Write My Papers is outright misleading customers in some aspects. When you scroll the homepage, you’ll see this list of services that are supposed to be included in the order cost:

As you can see, “the best writer” is on the list. However, once you head to the order form, you’ll see that getting an “advanced” or “top” writer costs extra. In our case, the price would go up to $71.50 for the former and a whopping $86.90 for the latter.

The same goes for the supposedly free plagiarism report. In reality, a basic one costs $9.99 more, while a Turnitin report would add a whopping $29.99 to the order total. That’s not to mention that Write My Papers has a VIP service fee:

There are other restrictions on revisions, of course – but those are standard ones. Your requests can’t contradict initial guidelines, and you can’t submit new documents for revisions.

Let’s begin with the bad news: Write My Papers offers only three (!) free revisions for your order. So, if your paper doesn’t meet your expectations after three rounds of edits, which may happen, you can either pay – or refine it on your own.

As for the timeframe, you have only a week to request changes to your paper, which seems a bit too tight for our liking.

Since our essay contained several formatting and sourcing mistakes, we decided to see first-hand how revisions work for our WriteMyPapers.org writing service review. Submitting our request was admittedly easy. We clicked the Send for revision button on the order page, described our wishes, and selected a 24-hour deadline.  

However, the execution left much to be desired. For one, our writer missed the specified deadline, albeit by under an hour. On top of that, they didn’t fix all the formatting errors – so, we had to request a second round of revisions to rectify that.

Now, is WriteMyPapers reliable when it comes to delivering papers on time? In our experience, it is: we received our essay right on time. Although considering that we selected a 14-day deadline for a five-page essay, it’s hardly an impressive feat.

Was our experience in line with that of other customers? Online WriteMyPapers reviews seem to indicate it was. Positive reviews frequently mention that orders were delivered on time. We couldn’t find any reviews that would call Write My Papers on missing deadlines, either.

As for deadlines themselves, you can select one of the available options (6 hours, 2 days, 14 days, etc.) or choose a custom date in the calendar. Keep in mind that Write My Papers offers the lowest rates only for deadlines of 14+ days, though (which is a bit of an overkill, in our opinion).

Last but not least: Is Write My Papers safe to use? To answer this question, we need to know whether the delivered papers can withstand a plagiarism check – and an AI scan.

As we mentioned in the pricing section, Write My Papers has the audacity to charge customers for plagiarism reports that it advertises as free on the main page. That’s not a good look for the platform, in our opinion.

That said, our checks didn’t reveal an outrageous plagiarism rate. Our essay was 92% original according to QueText and 90% original according to Grammarly. As for the AI scans, the Write My Papers essay also passed both GPTZero and Copyleaks checks.

As Write My Papers reviews were mostly silent on the matter, we couldn’t quite gauge whether our experience was representative enough, however.

Despite a decade of experience, Write My Papers doesn’t manage to strike that delicate balance between affordable pricing and paper quality. On top of that, we found one too many issues with its pricing techniques and customer experience. So, if you’re looking for a service that offers great value for your money, Write My Papers isn’t one.
