However, there are some comments complaining about the unresponsive customer support service and writers misunderstanding the instructions. On Sitejabber, EssayWriter has just four 1-star reviews. Two of them can be dismissed as emotional overreactions of customers dissatisfied with the finished product, while two others are enough to raise suspicion. They claim that support service became unreachable after the customer expressed their dissatisfaction with the order. Basically, that was the comment that made us start our investigation.

Based on the oldest comments from review aggregators, EssayWriter is one of the more or less fresh online academic helpers. It has been around for approximately three years. Yet, the service states it’s been 10 years in business.

Either it’s only four bad reviews in a decade or some bad reviews were simply removed. Regardless of that, we already know that when it comes to online assignment writing services, longevity doesn’t necessarily equal quality.

When you enter EssayWriter’s website, you are greeted with two things: a promise that you’re going to forget all essay writing-related stress and a 15% discount on your first order. The service offers a plagiarism check of all the works crafted by their “carefully selected writers.” Aside from that, the service promises to check all the works via AI detectors.

So, you don’t have to worry that ChatGPT will mess up your order. But are you safe from writers messing up your order?

Well, we can say that there were certain problems with the paper we ordered. It was completed before the deadline, but not all instructions were covered.

So, where to begin our EssayWriter.org review? Based on what you can find on their website, the starting price for custom paper writing is $9.99. You can also request editing of your own paper, with the starting price of $5.48 per page. But we will get into pricing a bit later.

Other services that EssayWriter has to offer include free paper samples. The database is quite extensive, with up to 20,000 samples that you can use for drafting your paper. The samples are quite good and can surely inspire you to write your own.

Aside from essay writing, the platform offers help with theses and dissertations, statistics tasks, PowerPoint presentations, and even coding.

And you can use tools like title, essay, and citation generators, as well as plagiarism, spelling, and grammar checkers for free. Seems quite fine and inexpensive. But that’s a surface level, and, just like we did in these My Super Geek reviews, CustomWritings reviews, and Paper24 reviews, we need to dig a bit deeper to come to some definitive conclusion.

When you scroll through Essay Writer org reviews, you can come across comments about the support team being unresponsive. When you click on the chat symbol, which follows you everywhere, you can opt for two options: “first-timer” and “returning client.” We opted for the former and got notified that it typically takes two minutes for a support agent to reply. One minute would’ve been better, but hey, we have services with an average waiting time of four minutes.

We said that we were planning to place an order but were a bit hesitant because of the negative comments that we’ve found online. Romeo replied “Hello” within two minutes. But at the time of writing, we still didn’t get a reply to our inquiry. Possibly, first-timers are not handled by live agents but by bots. They react to the first message but don’t analyze it enough to provide a reply more complex than a simple “Hello.”

We waited for ten minutes expecting something like “Are you still there?”, but no. Either it was a bot or an extremely careless customer support agent. Jumping ahead, we can say that our experience with authors was better than with support, but there’s one confusing thing. The service shows you their writers as a promo, and you can learn the subjects they are best at and their degrees. But all of that is unclickable.

You can’t get any information about writers’ bios or something. When you click on the “Hire an essay writer” option, you can place your order alright, but if the name of the option gives you hope that you can choose a writer, you are absolutely wrong.

The only thing you can choose is whether your paper is going to be written by the best available, top, or premium writer. The latter two options come with additional cost that relies pretty much on the deadline.

If you scroll to the bottom of the Essay Writer org website, you can find the “Prices” section. Click on it, and you will get the price calculator. We’ve already tested it, so we can tell you almost everything about it. Here, we run into a different confusion regarding the service.

Remember the claim that the starting price for custom writing is $9.99 per page? Well, forget about it. As you can see, the standard price is $13.28 per page granted that you opt for the longest deadline. If you want your paper immediately, then the price will hit the mark of $40+ per page.

The discount policy is rather confusing. Aside from the 15% discount on your first order, you can order points that equal $1 for each order you make. Later, when you accumulate a more or less considerable amount, you can apply it to your order. However, if you don’t order within the nine-month frame, your points are going to be annulled without any possibility of recovery.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, you can request a refund within 14 days for orders that are less than 20 pages long and within 30 days for orders that exceed 20 pages.

Now, it’s time to talk about revisions. It’s worth noting that you won’t find any Essay Writer org reviews regarding the revision policy. You can request revisions for free within 14 days after the completion of an order if it doesn’t exceed 20 pages and within 30 days if the order is longer than 20 pages.

We had to request a revision for one particular reason. We ordered an essay on using AI in paper writing. One of the requirements was incorporating bits written by the AI. After running the paper through several AI checkers, we didn’t find anything written by the artificial intelligence. We requested a revision regarding that and were told that using AI written texts is against the service’s policy. After exchanging messages back and forth, we were told that we could add examples written by the AI on our own.

The communication with the service pretty much ceased after we inquired why no one told us that in advance, as we mentioned that aspect in the instructions. Once again, negative reviews proved to be right. However, we must admit that overall, aside from not containing bits crafted by AI, the paper was more or less in line with our instructions.

We didn’t find any negative Essay Writer.org reviews regarding the missed deadline. And it’s not something that we’ve experienced while investigating the service. We requested an essay with a seven-day deadline, and a week later, we got our finished order. The maximum deadline for a simple order — high school, college, or undergraduate essay — is 30 days. When it comes to more complex academic writing, like a dissertation, the maximum deadline is two months.

The minimum deadline for a simple essay is one hour. It’s going to affect the price, and you will get a notification that the paper may not be delivered on time. When it comes to more sophisticated orders, the minimum deadline is 48 hours. To be fair, it’s hard to believe that someone can write a 200-page dissertation within that timeframe unless a team of writers is involved.

Yet, the notification that the order may not be delivered as urgently as you want is a nice addition. At least, it’s more honest than promising on-time delivery in vain.

None of the negative EssayWriter reviews complained about plagiarism directly. There were comments about writers misunderstanding the customers’ instructions, but not that writers plagiarized anything for completing the order. But the fact that none complained about that doesn’t mean that the service provides plagiarism-free papers.

When we got our order, we ran it through several plagiarism checkers. The results were nowhere near catastrophic but far from what can be considered plagiarism-free.

Depending on the checker, we got between 10% and 15% of plagiarized content. Generally, there were clusters of words that you can frequently see in articles about using ChatGPT or other AI writers in academia. You can easily avoid such clusters if you earn a living via writing. But there were instances of sentences ripped off from articles on the subject. As we’ve said, it was nothing catastrophic, but far from being perfect. Such a result is not something you would expect from “carefully selected writers.”

So, what do we have in the end? EssayWriter prices are not the lowest and not the highest, and the writers meet deadlines. The papers you get might contain plagiarized material, and not all the requirements may be followed. The worst part, however, is the support service. The customer agents may ignore your messages completely when you want to inquire about something as a first-timer. And they may cease all communication when you want to express dissatisfaction with the finished order.
